Hi I’m using MS 365 to host a few domains and am having difficulty getting my DNS Records to bind for Autodiscover. Record suggested by MS 365 gets rejected. Hostname = autodiscover Record Type = CNAME Value = autodiscover.outlook.com I guess some DNS hosts require different syntax? Any ideas please? Hi I am just trying to understand the difference between the two, I see some mention to avoid using your ISP DNS to prevent them from spying or knowing your website history, so is it better to use another DNS say opendns or opennic dns servers? Or can your ISP still know your website history … Read More “ISP DNS or secure other DNS?” »
I’m running some email campaigns. Email is hosted via MS Office 365. How do I ensure the domain is not seen as a spammer? I assume I need DKIM and spf records, but I’m not sure how to generate these or establish the correct syntax? Also – are there any other considerations/suggestions to avoid blacklisting? … Read More “DNS setup email campaigns” »

Why would these exist if our email is hosted with Microsoft 365 and MX records point there? Our SPF record also references Outlook.com. My assumption is our host recently was bought and new … Read More “Why do we have a bunch of dkim.amazonses.com records if we use Microsoft 365 as mail host?” »

Having a weird issue where a CNAME record on network solutions is pretty rapidly switching between set and not-set; confirmed by multiple public DNS servers. I’m moving off of them tonight, but I’m kind of confused how this even happens with a 30-minute TTL; it will be on than off multiple times in just a … Read More “Network solutions Cname issue” »
