First, let me say that I’m running bind with the ISC official docker image. It’s working really well. I have the configs in and cache on the host filesystem for persistence and ease of editing. I am currently running BIND dns as my dns server for the servers on my local network. I have one master server which is recursive and two slaver servers which are also recursive, I feel like that shouldn’t be the case. I am using a TLD that I own.
