Trying to figure out if unbound is forwarding to 1.1.1.1 , 1.0.0.1 or it is querying the root servers. Using tp-link AC SOHO router so netflow or full packet capture won’t do. Edit: Three brain cell struggles today. /var/nsd/etc/nsd.conf had zonefile: “slave/%s.signed”. When I fixed that it started working correctly. For some reason NSD is creating a signed reverse zone for one of my zones, but not the others.
