Storing new linket-type data as DNS data

I had posted an article about a way to extend domains and DNS to handle mobile phones and to allow for Unicode brands. In reponse to questions, I added this article describing how the (new) linket might be stored as domain-type data, in a backward compatibility mode. https://medium.com/@wesboudville/retrofitting-linkets-with-dns-7e109a9ef1d8 https://preview.redd.it/r3tsmy1wkgc51.jpg?width=371&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=55d96f9685b755a76bcaa15471d05607b85dc23b submitted by /u/Wes_Boudville [link] [comments] … Read More “Storing new linket-type data as DNS data” »

I’m on Android. Cloudfare app helps in unblocking porn sites but if I don’t use the app but rather change the dns in settings then the sites are not unblocked. Any help?

For more information I used 1dot1dot1dot1.cloudflare-dns.com in the private dns provider hostname section. I also used Magisk modules like Dns Switcher and CloudfareDNS4magisk. On Dnsleaktest.com it shows that my isp is Cloudfare. And my internet provider is Jio, India. Which blocks porn sites. submitted by /u/Dasumit [link] [comments] Powered by WPeMatico

Turns out half the internet has a Single-Point-of-Failure called “Cloudflare” (and what to do about it)

Hey guys, Question for you all. Setting up SPF for our environment, and was considering flattening it out as well. I was wondering if you guys think that “a” and “mx” records need to be included in flattening if that is the way I decide to go. Is flattening even worth it in your guys’ … Read More “Include A and MX records in SPF?” »

How can google redirect naked domain without appropriate A Record?

I understand DNS to some extent, but I’m setting up GSuite now and I found something that doesn’t fit with my current understanding….. Per Google Admin Console settings, domain.com redirects to www.domain.com. I have proven my ownership of domain.com to Google with a TXT record, but I don’t know why Google can redirect domain.com when … Read More “How can google redirect naked domain without appropriate A Record?” »

Below is what I have from DNS lookup through cloudflare dns and google dns without VPN. $ nslookup xfinity.com 1.1.1.1 Server: 1.1.1.1 Address: 1.1.1.1#53 ** server … Read More “It Feels like Xfinity/Comcast is blocking Cloudflare DNS” »
